For many contemplating therapy, the issue often lies in a conflict between thoughts and emotion. It can seem like emotions get in the way of leading the most sensible life. On the other hand, emotions are an important part of being human. This does not mean to say that emotions are easy to manage and live with. Knowing what to do with them when they are overwhelming can be difficult. Controlling your emotions compartmentalizes a part of your existence thereby causing you to live less fully. However, the thought of including these feelings in day-to-day life can be frightening.
I offer a space to explore ways to incorporate feelings into your existence and integrate them with your thinking mind, so that you can make more-informed and better choices about how to live your life.
You will find me open, accepting of your individuality, and a champion of your efforts to forge a more fulfilling life for yourself.

I hold a BA from the University of British Columbia and am a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. I have spent 10 years 'on the road' in Europe & Asia, working and exploring. I share my life in Toronto with my partner, our daughter and her two cats.
My fee is $70 dollars per appointment and I always maintain a certain number of clients on a sliding scale so please inquire if you are in financial difficulty. At the moment I have sessions available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please call or email.
